I think the DHL flights out of KCVG are actually run by Ameriflight for DHL. Or at least I thought so, there is quite a bit of jet traffic for Astar/DHL out of KCVG and Ameriflight does not operate jets (other than a Lear I think). Looking again, I might be right, I was looking at the map wrong. I think that the EMB120, Fairchild and Cessnas out of KCVG are Ameriflight.

Slightly off topic, Astar Air Cargo (aka DHL) in the US on the fall/winter is still shown operating out of the KCVG hub. In Sep 05 All of these flights moved to KILN when Dhl Purchesed ABX air. Do Cargo com. update the sched. once a year, or is this an oversite?

Craig, Were you able to asssign this texture without a problem?, because, I have not been able to see it under the "variation" list, therefore, I cannot find a way to assign it. I've used the [fltsim.x] provided by the author. What is strange is that it shows up in the FS Painter window, but, for some reason UT doesn't "see it". |

I was wondering what the old terminal was being used for now. I haven't been there since 1999. Does anybody know of a good afcard for the above scenery? Just to keep it on topic, I would assign the Israir ATR's to the routes. Am Yisrael chai!

I have a few screenshots here showing the old terminal (Yafo), and according to UT schedules, these airlines still park there: Jat Airways, KLM, Royal Jordanian, Siberia Airlines, Sn Brussels, Tarom, Tandem Aero (operated by Air Moldova's A320) and Uzbekistan, seen here: ...and the new Ben Gurion terminal where EL AL and the remaining carriers park. And, starting March 27, Delta will be flying direct from Atlanta using 777-200 equipment. |

As it happens, I flew from Tel Aviv's Sde Dov (LLSD) to Eilat (LLET) a few months ago on an Israir ATR42. Parked alongside me was an Arkia ATR72.
Both airlines have frequent flights on this route. The aircraft usually fly at about 9000ft and fly over Jerusalem and the Dead Sea, with dramatic views of the mountains of Jordan with Amman, its capital, in the distance. There are also some flights to Eilat from Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion Airport (LLBG), by both airlines. A huge new terminal was opened there recently. There is a scenery for it from Avsim: http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=fs2004scen&DL ID=59965 There are also excellent sceneries for Sde Dov and Eilat on the Vatil website: http://www.vatil.org/vatil/index.php I'm not sure that Arkia has been acquired by El Al. I booked my flights from London through El Al and they gave me the Israir flights. I was told that El Al and Arkia are 'not talking to each other' at the moment, whatever that might mean! |

Thanks Adrian, Your research is always helpful. As you can see, here she is: Although there is a repaint already available on PAI's library, I thought it needed an update, so I just finished this one, and I'll upload it to PAI's library at once. I happen to receive the April issue of Airways Magazine in the mail, and one of the articles features El Al Israel Airlines which got me curious about EL Al being up to date in UT. There was also a section about how EL AL takes security very seriously, and I see what you are saying Craig Hernan

I belive that this route is operated by Arkia Israeli Airlines, they operate ATRs and were acquired by El Al. El Al's current fleet consits of 6 742s, 5 744s, 4 772s, 6 762s, 1 763, 4 752s, 2 737 and 6 738...and I think all of them have been retrofitted with anti missle technology.

Hernan, Can't find any "official" confirmation, but pretty sure these are operated by Israir AT4s See the caption to http://www.airliners.net/open.file/0905923/L/ That's from June 05. I think they also used Arkia AT7s at some point earlier on. Hope this helps! |

I don't know who operates the Tel-Aviv to Elat route for El Al using an ATR equipment. El Al's website indicates it is its own ATR, however, I have not seen any pictures of that ATR, is it the 42 or 72 model?. Does anyone have a picture available?. I'd love to do a repaint... Hernan |

There is a TU134 assignment for Kras. Kras no longer operates the TU134 and this flight is operated by SIAT. I am at work now so I cannot check if this is a duplicate flight under the SIAT schedules or not.

Mid Airlines does operate in Sudan but they only operate the Fokker 27 and not the A320. I did a repaint of their Fokker 27, but there was a problem in the older schedules to where it would never show up. I haven't checked it yet with the newer schedules, I've been too busy flying through Russia.

Everts > Jetstar: Yes, as noted here http://ultimatetraffic.flight1.net/forums/forum_posts.asp?TI D=24&KW=everts Mid Airlines > Sudan AW: Probably not. Sudan Airways only ever had one A320, from 1993-97, unless they're getting a new one? But I can't find anyone else operating A320s in Sudan |

A couple more - these are based on looking at the timetables and destinations rather than any hard information: Everts Air A320 appears to be Jetstar Asia Mid Airlines A320 appears to be Sudan Airways |

ATR (ATR-42) of Meridiana is operated by Avanti Air. Hernan has done a repaint for it. It's for the PAI model (I just downloaded).

For Solomon use the Air Vanuatu B737 textures, they do lease that aircraft and it has not been repainted. The Angkor Airways flights are either code shares with or leases from Far Eastern Transport, so go ahead and use the FAT textures for them. Not sure about the Siem Reap A320.

A few questions: Solomon Airlines 737. Can't find anyut eard that they wet lease their 737s from Air Vanuatu. Is this correct? Angkor Airways has a 757-200 and I can't find a photo with their livery. On some other forum someone mentioned that they wet lease the 757 from Far Easter Air Transport. Is this corect? Also can't find repaints for Siem Reap A320 |

According to my sources Palau Transpacific Airlines wet-leases its B757-200 from Far Eastern Air Transport, so I assigned it for the job. I'm not 100% sure though.

Thanks Adrian, Your help is always appreciated. You have helped me resolve many, many questions I had regarding needed textures, and we all benefit from your help. I'll do the repaints as soon as I go through a complete diagnose of my computer. It's been acting very slow lately. Hernan |
