Hi folks

I currently use FS painter and AI Aardvark models for most of my AI aircraft as I personally think that they are the best not just for frame rates but for looks as well. I'm still in the change over process regarding the fs painter ones. (Yawn....Its a long job)

With regards to the smaller aircraft models eg. Jetstreams, Fokkers, ATP's, Embraers, Dorniers, Avro's, Saabs etc, do you use Project AI ones or is there some other make of models which are also very good.

After seeing a posting saying that FS painter and Aardvark models look better than some of the others available just wondering if there was any alternatives to the PAI ones with lots of textures available.

PS-Can anybody tell me what aircraft to assign in UT for a SWM-Swearingen Metro. I can't find a model so I presume you use a substitute like a Beech or a Saab????? The airline in question is OLT Ostfriesische Lufttransport Gmbh

Thanks for any advice

Take it steady

Evolve AI has a great EMB-145 Model. As far as the other models for the aircraft you listed, I am curious too!

For the Tristars, I have a mixture of CDAI and Dee Waldron models.  For the Antonov's and Tupolev's, check out my Russian AI Guide.

Craig

Thats brill. Thankyou. I've just finished updating my aircraft from Project AI to FSP and I think that they are allot better. I also took your advice from your other posting see below and I think that's also made a big improvement.

JS31 - PAI
JS41 - the model from the EVAI website, this is not an EVAI model, but an earlier model from one of the EVAI guys.
Fokker jets - Fernando Martinez
Fokker props - PAI
EMB 140/145 - EVAI
EMB 135 - PAI
Dornier 228 - Fernando Martinez
Dorner 328 and 328j - PAI
Avro/BAe 146 - Fernando Martinez
Saab 340 - PAI (I prefer repaints done on Tony Fosler's paintkit)
Saab 2000 - PAI
Metro - Model from either Dee Waldron or Henry T

I also use some of the Airbus models from Evolve AI and I think they are also really good. Back to importing the new Tristars and to have a look at your russian guide.

Thanks Craig, Take it easy

Hi, sorry but I had to "revive" this thread - which models would you guys recommend for the Bombardier CRJ-Family? (other than PAI's)?  Is there something out there?  I'm also looking for replacement models for the PAI Dash-8's.
Thanks
Heinz

I use the CDAI CRJ200 and CRJ700.  As for the PAI CRJ900 and the entire Dash8 family, there is nothing else to choose from.  There was an independent modeller working on a Dash8-400, but haven't heard or seen anything from him in about a month.  You can find the CDAI models and a list of the repaints at http://www.evolveai.com/other/aircraft.html

Thanks Craig, I thought you'd know of some models (I remember you made up a list at one point but I can't seem to find anymore in this forum).  Thanks again
