Just got the new schedule, appreciate it. One I noticed, and I may not know what I'm talking about, but who is Paradise Island Airlines?  There listed as a US Airways carrier flying the Embraer 170.  I know Republic Airlines, (callsign Brickyard), flys the 170 for US Airways.  Here's their site:  http://www.republicairlines.com/sub-repubair.html - http://www.republicairlines.com/sub-repubair.html   I can't find anything current on Paradise Island.

Hi 2 All

If you look at EDDF - Frankfurt Inter Airport (Summer 2006 Schedules) there are three airlines that I'm not sure what to assign. Can anybody please tell me who the carriers are for these. I understand that Air Madrid was going to lease the A321's but I'm not sure from who. With regards to the others I haven't managed to find anything out.

Air Madrid (NM) -- A321

Emirates (EK) -- 744

Macair (CC) -- 74X

David,

I suppose the Air Madrid will be operated in their own colours. The recently delivered A319's are in full c/s as well.

The Emirates 744 is one of their 747-400 Freighters. The correct code would have been 74Y.

The Macair 74X is an Air Atlanta Icelandic 747-200F. Both Macair and Air Atlanta Icelandic use the code CC.

Does anyone know what the Air One CR9 is supposed to be?

I wasn't aware that they had any CRJs - could it be a partner airline?

Lufthansa??

Thanks

Does anyone know what's up with the Alitalia MD-11 routes?  It's says passenger MD-11 but looking at the routes it looks like Cargo.

Did Alitalia retire all their passenger MD-11 and convert them to cargo?

You can assign the new AirUnion Boeing 737-300 I just painted (see screenshots) to the following cariers: Domodedovo, Krasnoyarsk (KrasAir) and Samara Airlines, as they are now part of the new AirUnion conglomerate.

Hi Hernan

RE:Bonairexel (9H)

The only pics I can find of this airline are on  http://www.jetphotos.net/ - http://www.jetphotos.net/

There are pics of ATR's and ERJ's after a quick look. No pics though of the Fokker 50. I'm not sure if you can use these and somehow transfer these paint schemes onto a F50.  Hope this helps you out.

Hi
Correct the Bonaire Excelflies no F50

To David's questions

Virgrin Express A319 + SN Brusseles (they merged)
Asian Spirit flies only BAE 462
Ivoire flies only A321 to Paris and Marseilles

The rest..I will have to revert to you

Shaheen 73G is most probably a 732.

Palau Transpacific Airlines has leased aircraft from Far Eastern Air Transport in the past so following that logic I have assigned a FAT B752 for Palau.

Not quite - Air Ivoire flies an A321, but Ivoire Airways is a different company (website here: http://www.ivoireairways.ci/ - http://www.ivoireairways.ci/ ).

According to the website they do operate an A310, but I can't find any pictures of it.

"One I noticed, and I may not know what I'm talking about, but who is Paradise Island Airlines?  "

Paradise Island Airlines - I'm not sure of

But Ultimate Traffic has a long running historical inaccuracy with:

Pacific Island Aviation - IATA 9J - ICAO PSA - being confused as a US Airways Express carrier - even the 'experts' on airliners.net frequently mislabel their photos as belonging to this airline.

The reason is that:

Pacific Southwest Airlines was bought and merged into US Airways - the IATA code PS and the ICAO code PSA did belong to them.

PSA Airlines - has the ICAO code JIA and do NOT have a separate IATA code - from their previous name of Jetstream International Airlines - which was also purchased by US Airways.

JIA flies the CRJ-200 and CRJ-700 aircraft for US Airways Express.

Pacific Island Aviation was based in Saipan in the Northern Marianas Islands - serving Guam, Saipan, Rota and Tinian as a Northwest Air Link affilliate for many years. Their fleet consisted solely of Shorts SH3-30 aircraft. They have ceased to operate - unable to compete with the Cape Air ATR's flying as Continental Connection out of Guam.

They are both Aerounion - if you look at their respective schedules, you will see that they all fly to the same destinations and use the same flight numbers. I think that all of the Ryan flights are covered by the Aerounion schedules, so there's no need to assign the Ryan aircraft, but the Aeromexpress flights are on different days to the Aerounion flights.

According to Amadeus.net, the LTU 737 route (DUS-CAG-DUS) is now flown by an LTU A320.

If a 737 was used, I suspect it would have been operated by dba (who own 60% of LTU).

RE:Bismillah's B73F

I've just looked at Bismillah's timetable for this aircraft and it only flies to Dhaka--VGZR. There is another B73F aircraft that also flies the very same route which is operated by Yakutia (Y8) and it also has the same flight number as Bismillah's. Is it a poss codeshare?

-------------
David Jackson EGPD

Posted By: Hernan1
Date Posted: August-01-2006 at 4:08pm

Thanks David,

Looks like Yakutia's (Y8) is mislabeled in UT. Yangtze River Express' IATA is also Y8, and they use 733Fs.

 _______________________________________________

Cubana's 752 is operated by Hola Airlines of Spain, but, according to this picture, it is actually a Boeing 737-300. http://airliners.net/open.file/1021739/M/ - http://airliners.net/open.file/1021739/M/

Although there is already a repaint for the 757, available at AVSIM, I will do a repaint for the 737-300, and I'll use it in its place. That airliners.net picture made that decision for me

EDIT: I already finished the repaint. See the screenshots section

From the 3rd article here:
http://www.weeklyholiday.net/2005/240605/aviatour.html - http://www.weeklyholiday.net/2005/240605/aviatour.html
(dated June 2005) it would appear that the 73F between DAC and SZX is indeed Yangtse River Express, and "Bismillah Airlines will work as the local general sales agent of the Chinese airline" in Dhaka.

I would suggest leaving the Bismillah 73F unassigned, and assigning only the Yangtse/Yakutia(!) aircraft. The flight numbers 7953/4 are the same, and they don't fly this route twice a day!

Also there appears to be a timing problem with UT's Bismillah schedule. Adjusting for the 2-hour time difference between DAC (UTC+6) and SZX (UTC+8), it has the 733 taking nearly 13 hours to cover the 1300 nm from DAC to SZX.

The times in the Yangtse/Yakutia schedule are also fairly impossible: DAC-SXZ in 1h10 and back in 5h50, unless you assume that they don't take the time difference into account (i.e. all times are Chinese time). Then you get a much more realistic 3h10 and 3h50.

The Shenzhen airport website http://www.szairport.com/doce/flight/i_cargo_l.asp - http://www.szairport.com/doce/flight/i_cargo_l.asp also appears to list all times in China time only. It gives the schedule for the Dhaka cargo flights as follows:
Y8 7953 SZX-DAC 1210-1625 = 4h15 (if China time only) or 6h15 (with time diff)
Y8 7954 DAC-SZX 1730-2030 = 3h00 (if China time only) or 1h00 (with time diff)
Bear in mind it's the monsoon season in Bangladesh, with strong winds from the south and west, i.e headwinds when flying to Dhaka!

Alitalia does not operate B764, only the B763.  In some of the reservation systems, along with B763 you will see an equipment types of B762 and B764 listed.

The listings for B762 are ex Air Canada B763s
The listings for B763 are standard Alitalia B763s
The listings for B764 are standard Alitalia B763s that have been reconfiged.

Mid Airlines A320 - I have assigned Mid Airlines F50  (PAI) by Hernan.

Mahfooz Aviaton B727 - I have assigned Aardvark B727 by Craig.

Trans Air Congo B732 - I have assigned a PAI one.

Pamir Air B737 - I have assigned Kam Air B732 Aardvark, just my guess as I couldn't find any evidence of a Pamir Air B737.

I have Buraq Air (Libya) and Bouraq Air (Indonesia) all mixed up so I won't comment.

South Airlines B737 - I have a South Airlines Tu134 (PAI) assigned, I don't remember why, maybe it was pointed out in an older assignment thread.

Bismillah 73F - Yangtze River B737 (PAI). Pointed out already earlier in this thread.

"Mahfooz Aviaton B727 - I have assigned Aardvark B727 by Craig."

I cannot find this repaint on avsim.

"I have Buraq Air (Libya) and Bouraq Air (Indonesia) all mixed up so I won't comment"

Bouraq Air (Indonesia) is a defunct airline.

Well, actually can't find it either now. It's possible that there isn't one and I have mixed up something, but maybe Craig can tell us if he has done one.

I know Bouraq (Indonesia) is defunct, but I still have them mixed up (I should do something about it).

Hi,

Some more additions that have not been mentioned before (I hopeWink)

Taag Angola 777 = codeshare with British Airways (just like previous schedules). No need to assign.

Ryan International ABF = AeroUnion (think I've seen this one on this forum before)

Krasnoyarsk Airlines AN4 = codeshare with Sibaviatrans. No need to assign.

VLM Airlines ARJ = F50 in real life so assign F50

Hemus Air AT4 = Viaggio Air ATR42

CCM Airlines AT4 = all white ATR42

Nok Air AT7 = Thai Airways in real life

Bahamasair BE9 = Dash 8 in real life

Air Vanuatu BNI = Vanair BNI

More additions to follow.

I have the Mahfooz Aviaton B727 still on my HD and can upload it to AVSIM tomorrow.  I would do it tonight, as well as work on my flightplans for San Juan Aviation, but I just got home after a 12 hour work day and I am tuckered out and need to get some sleep,

Any ideas on these (very interesting):

emb110 for china eastern airlines and solomon airlines

f27 for jet2.com  *i suppose this must be a codeshare

f50 bonairexel

dh8-dash8 for polynesian airlines and skippers aviation

sf3-saab340 for air cargo carriers, burkina and ibc airways

swm - skippers aviation and mali airways

t20 - tu204 for domodedovo and pulkovo

my repaintlist is getting smaller and smaller.

My eyes are all crossed from another 12 hour work day.  I'll upload that Mahfooz texture to AVSIM tomorrow...I promise...unless I have to work another 12 hour day.   I'll upload a cleaner version of the San Juan Aviation flightplans than the ones that I posted in the General Forum.

My only contribution to your list in the above post is for the tu204s.  Unless it is a code share, the Pulkovo TU204 is an IL86, as they do not operate a TU204.  As for the Domodedovo, I have Kras Air assigned to that one.

The Jet2 F27 is operated by Channel Express (which until June was owned by the Dart Group - the parent company of Jet2). Craig's done a repaint for the Dee Waldron F-27A, available on Avsim.

The bonairexel F50 was discussed on page 1 of this thread.

I believe the Skippers Dash 8 and SWM are genuine, as there are pictures of them on their website. A repaint for the Dee Waldron Metroliner is available on Avsim. I haven't seen a repaint for the PAI Dash 8, although there's one available for the Dreamwings Dash 8 should you wish to fly it yourself!

Burkina Airlines is in fact Central Connect Airlines (from an earlier thread on this topic). There's a repaint for the PAI Saab 340 on Avsim.

A couple more for jerel:

Solomon Airlines EMB110
Leased from Air Fiji. Hernan's repaint at http://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=75206 - http://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=75206 fits the bill, although the actual aircraft used this year is reg. DQ-AFO, according to solomonairlines.com.au.

China Eastern "EMB"
Probably refers to their ERJ-145LI (built by Harbin Embraer and officially designated EMB-145LI). I would posit that the 450nm between NKG and XMN is a bit too much for a twin-prop EMB110 to cover in just 1h40 or 1h50, especially seeing as China Southern do the same route in the same time in an Airbus!

Mali Airways SWM
Shouldn't be Mali Airways, but Linea Aerea Amaszonas, as already discussed on p.3 of the first thread http://ultimatetraffic.flight1.net/forums/forum_posts.asp?TID=2468&KW=amaszona&TPN=3 - http://ultimatetraffic.flight1.net/forums/forum_posts.asp?TI D=2468&KW=amaszona&TPN=3

Further to the above:

Polynesian Airlines DH8
Can't find a repaint!
It's a DHC8-100 (reg. 5W-FAA) leased from Airlines of PNG.
Nice pic at http://www.airliners.net/open.file/1011074/L/ - http://www.airliners.net/open.file/1011074/L/

Skippers Aviation DH8
You'd think one of the Aussie flightsim sites would have a repaint, but I can't find one.
Pic at http://www.airliners.net/open.file/0899412/L/ - http://www.airliners.net/open.file/0899412/L/

Air Cargo Carriers SF3
Wrong name! Should be Avitrans Nordic SF340 (as discovered by Fred in the Winter 05 assignments thread).
UT's flightnumbers match the flights they operate for Stockholmsplanet, so use file stock340.zip from flightsim.com

IBC Airways SF3
No repaint found. Pic at http://www.airliners.net/open.file/1002580/L/ - http://www.airliners.net/open.file/1002580/L/

Domodedovo T20
As Craig says, most probably KrasAir Tu204, but there's a slight chance it may be a Dalavia Tu-214. Investigation continues!

Pulkovo T20
This is a GTK Rossiya (State Transport Company Russia) Tu-214. Pulkovo and Rossiya are in the process of merging - the Pulkovo name will disappear next year.

Craig, Adrian e-mailed me the repaint.   Thank you for replying.

Provincial Airlines, West Coast Air and Air service operate the DHC-6 Twin Otter per the schedules.  I have the DH8A-B's assigned.  Anybody know about the Twin otters for these carriers?

Posted By: apwright
Date Posted: August-26-2006 at 10:33am

Provincial Airlines DHC6
Operated by Innu Mikun
http://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=73698 - http://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=73698 by Daan Callaerts.

West Coast Air DHC6
I think they only use the floatplane version of the Twin Otter. I've never been able to get floatplanes to work properly with UT. There are some packages at Avsim with floatplane traffic in the Vancouver area which might include West Coast.

Air Service DHC6
According to SC's Airliner Lists, Air Service Gabon have had a DHC6 since about June last year (reg. TR-LGU, formerly C-FNAN of Arctic Sunwest Charters).
Pics from its ferry flight to Africa still with old reg.:

Domodedovo ILW flight DME-NSK is codeshare with KrasAir.

According to aerotransport.org, Tatarstan now have 3 Il86s. There are pics of all 3 at airliners.net:
http://www.airliners.net/open.file/1090213/L/ - http://www.airliners.net/open.file/1090213/L/
http://www.airliners.net/open.file/1089294/L/ - http://www.airliners.net/open.file/1089294/L/
http://www.airliners.net/open.file/1081117/L/ - http://www.airliners.net/open.file/1081117/L/
As you can see, one is all white (formerly belonged to Russian Sky), and 2 have a blue stripe and tail (ex-Krasair). No Tatarstan titles yet except the badge on the tail. I expect repainters are waiting for them to receive their final livery before painting them!

Heres a couple more I haven't located:

BNI - New England Airlines, Aero Tropics Air Services and Polynesian

BNT - Aurigny Air Services(found plane but not AI) and Air Fiji

DH2 - Pacific Coastal Airlines Limited

I found a texture for the SKJ TU-134 for KRAS Air on avsim.ru but the zip file is corrupt.  Does anyone have that texture?

TU134 - State Transport Company of Russia, Tatarstan and Aerosvit/Ukraine Intl Airlines

YK2 - Kras, Eastline and Astair(now known as interavia)

IL6 - Natalco

repaint list almost complete.  found alot of missing russian types yesterday.  Thanks!

Jerel,

For the BNI and BNT models, go to AVSIM and type "BN-2A" in the search box. You'll find Aero Tropics and Air Aurigny's BNT textures.

Polynesian BN2 is here http://library.avsim.net/sendfile.php?Location=AVSIM&Proto=ftp&DLID=47016 - http://library.avsim.net/sendfile.php?Location=AVSIM&Pro to=ftp&DLID=47016

Eastline Yak-42 is one of my repaints, available at AVSIM http://library.avsim.net/sendfile.php?Location=AVSIM&Proto=ftp&DLID=55479 - http://library.avsim.net/sendfile.php?Location=AVSIM&Pro to=ftp&DLID=55479

For the remaining Tu134 and YK42's, I'm affraid there are a few out there for the SKJ models. I don't like to use them for repaints because the models have no detail.

I'm keeping an eye for the new generation of russian aircraft coming up with Russian AI Traffic system, which I saw on an earlier thread http://ultimatetraffic.flight1.net/forums/forum_posts.asp?TID=2645&PN=3 - http://ultimatetraffic.flight1.net/forums/forum_posts.asp?TI D=2645&PN=3

Alright,

One addition about a small prop:

Equaflight (5E) is SGA (Siam General Aviation) in real life.

See http://www.sga.aero - www.sga.aero .

http://www.airliners.net/open.file/0997626/M/ - http://www.airliners.net/open.file/0997626/M/  shows you the Cessna they operate. They also operate a Piper 46 but that is not included in UT. There are 3 packages for the Cessna on Avsim but none with the most recente repaint for the C208 by H.Tomckiewicz. Someone for a repaint?

One request: Does anybody know where to find a repaint of a Syltair Cessna 404 or 421?

Probably more additions later

Regards,

Fred
